HAND is Now Registered With the eScrip Electronic Scrip Program!
Simple and convenient, all you need to do is register your favorite credit cards, ATM cards, debit cards and/or grocery loyalty cards with Electronic Scrip, Inc. A contribution is automatically made to HAND in your name each time you shop using your registered cards at eScrip merchants (such as Safeway or Old Navy) at no additional cost to you!

Memorial Donations
Friends and family members who would like to contribute in memory of a child are welcome to contribute to HAND. Parents may specify HAND as the recipient of memorial contributions for their child. These contributions are acknowledged in our newsletter and to the parents as a tribute to their child. HAND uses these contributions to provide much-needed services to parents in our service areas. Please indicate the parents' and the child's name when sending in a memorial contribution.
For larger contributions and endowments in memory of a child, please contact our Treasurer for more information and to discuss the specifics of the donation you are considering.

Company Matching
Many companies provide matching gifts for employees to support their chosen nonprofit organization. While each company's requirements differ, HAND often qualifies. HAND is a California Nonprofit Corporation governed under the Federal Tax Code as a 501(c)3 organization for Health and Human Services.
Companies may match cash donations and donations of company stock. At this time, HAND is unable to accept any donations of equipment.

United Way
Many companies direct their employee charitable giving programs through United Way. United Way is an attractive mechanism for many people to contribute on a regular basis through payroll deductions or direct contributions.
HAND is currently not a United Way agency, which means that any company matching funds go to United Way's general fund and not to HAND. However, people wishing to donate to HAND through United Way are able to do so by selecting HAND as their designated agency. Please make sure to search for "Helping After Neonatal Death."
